You know Black Friday has not ever been my my thing.......don't get me wrong I love a great deal but the last place I want to be the day after Thanksgiving is in a crowded store with everyone else. I'd rather be at home sipping Hot Carob, with my family decorating the Christmas tree and enjoying Christmas tunes.
I'm sure many of your love the hustle and bustle and thrill of finding a great deal and maybe Black Friday is a fun family tradition that you look forward to every year. That's great! I'm just not that into it.
I have found how to have the best of both worlds for me......And that is Black Friday Weekend! It starts Black Friday and goes through what they have termed Cyber Monday and it can all be done at home on the computer. GREAT DEALS on shopping all from the comfort of home!
Simple. Healthy. Tasty. is participating in a couple of such deals Black Friday Weekend. One is the return of The Ultimate Healthy Living Bundle with 25% to charity. Read more about that here.
The other is I'm offering my 2014 version of Simply Scheduled ....FREE with no strings attached or things to sign up for.
Just FREE!
Don't forget! Both these deals will be GONE Monday (Dec.2) at Midnight (EST)!
Speaking of Meal plans:
I have decided I'm going to start recording more of our menus. Starting with this Thanksgiving menu plan below. It will help me to keep a record and it may help some of you who are looking for ideas. I'm even thinking about posting our regular weekly menu too. I guess we will see how that goes. Let me know if you think that would be helpful to you.
It's not hard to celebrate holidays with healthy food. We eat really well, we don't feel deprived and I feel good about the ingredients without much compromise. Yep it does take a little planning and prep but I have awesome family members that help out so I only have to make a portion of it.
Wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!
